ABOUT — Lincoln Club of Riverside County

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Lincoln Club of Riverside County is to develop leaders for local, state and national office; lend financial and other support to leaders for local, state and national office; facilitate the appointment of local Republicans to positions in state and federal government; educate the membership and others regarding Republican principals and ideals; and inform the membership of political and public policy issues, both domestic and foreign.

Executive Board of Directors

The first president of the Riverside Lincoln Club was Ken Calvert. He was assisted in organizational efforts and signing up new members by Gene Agnes. He was very active in the Riverside Jaycees and in the election campaign for Vic Veysey for Congress. Bob Wolf followed Ken as chairman. Bob was a friend and huge supporter of Governor Pete Wilson. He served several years as chairman of the California Transportation Commission and is still active today in Republican politics. Duane Roberts was president next and served for a number of years. He has always been tremendously supportive of the Republican cause. Dr. Harkeerat Dhillon followed Duane Roberts. Today the club is led by Doug Shepherd and the Board of Directors.
